This was our first ever visit to Fuerteventura in May 2001. Our oldest daughter was 4 and our youngest daughter was 8 months old – we must have been mad!!!
Comments on Castillo Playa:
Bungalows: Excellent, clean, well maintained with your own terrace large enough for 3 or 4 sunbeds. We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment, which had a sofa bed and a cot in the lounge area.
Complex: Great pools – especially the children’s one. Place was spotless at all times.
Pool Bar: When we stayed at Castillo Playa it was under different management. The bar was slightly pricey, but served great bar meals (thanks to Carlos) and the staff were great.
Maid service: Excellent
